Electronic Arts is giving us more information about the newest EA Sports titles that were also shown at Microsoft’s Xbox One reveal event.
They’re is touting True player motion, human intelligence, and living worlds as new features in the latest EA Sports games.
EA Sports Ignite
EA has promised that their sports games will change dynamically based on the real world of sports, that will update constantly, even while you’re not playing the game. No word yet if the games require an internet connection to be played.
EA is also titling their new physics engine for NBA Live ‘bounceTek’. The basketball will now have its own physics engine, giving a much more realistic feel to the games.
Madden NFL 25
Madden will feature new features such as True Step Locomotion and Player Sense, which will add up to 50 times more contextual decisions per second.
FIFA has a new feature called Pro Instincts, with 4X more calculations per second. This sounds similar to Player Sense in Madden. Your player will now respond much more quickly to other player movement in your game. Coming in Fall to Xbox One and Playstation 4.
EA Sports UFC
This announcement featured the UFC announcer live and in the flesh, as well as Dana White (the President of UFC) and two champions in the UFC. Some of the new technology in EA Sports UFC is called Full Body Deformation, and allows for more detailed and smooth interactions between fighters. Launches on PS4 and Xbox One in Spring 2014
